近日，据外媒消息，动物保护组织PETA希望索尼圣莫尼卡工作室为《战神：诸神黄昏》添加一个新的游戏模式，以消除游戏中所有目标为动物的暴力行为。
PETA在视频中表示：“这只狗被锁在外面冻了很久，奎托斯和阿特柔斯发现他的时候，他的处境很凄惨，忍受着芬布尔冬天的寒冷摧残，没有任何遮挡。他没有食物和水。”
事实上，《战神：诸神黄昏》中的大部分动物是神话生物而并非真实生物，而游戏中的大部分动物也无法受到攻击，但PETA对游戏中与巨狼加姆的BOSS战持怀疑态度。
这不是PETA第一次针对电子游戏而发声，在今年年初《艾尔登法环》发售后，PETA就曾经发布了一条视频来提醒玩家注意保护动物。

Will the developers from Sony Santa Monica adding such a mode is incomprehensible, especially considering the relatively positive ending of the line with the same Garm in the game. More on Aroged
