This processor in its more productive version has already appeared in a ready-made solution, namely in the Haier Boyue G43 laptop. The Chinese company Zhaoxin, which is a longtime competitor of Intel and AMD, has introduced a modern high-performance processor for laptops and personal computers, which has already been tested in the model from Haier.
The chip called Kaixian KX-6000G was based on the x86 architecture. It received four cores operating at a frequency of up to 3 GHz, with a power consumption of 15 watts. There is also a factory version with overclocking to 3.3 GHz, but it requires 35 watts of power.
Support for up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes, a pair of USB 2.0, four USB 3.2 Gen1, and two SATA III is provided. The chip received an integrated C-1080 graphics core with support for DirectX 12, OpenCL 1.2, OpenGL 4.6 and 4K displays.
If we compare the Kaixian KX-6000G with chips from Intel and AMD, then in terms of the process technology (16 nanometers), it still lags behind, since modern AMD processors are produced on a 7 nm process technology, and Intel – 10 nm.
The Haier Boyue G43 laptop, based on the new chip, was equipped with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory on an NVMe drive, USB 3.1 connectors, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, HDMI connector and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules.
